Last night, the Tiverton and Minehead Conservatives had the pleasure of welcoming Katie Lam to Wiveliscombe Community Centre.
First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to Jean Parbrook, Jane Fullwell and Carrie Osman 🌟. They produced a feast fit for a king — that is the only way I can describe it. It was absolutely unbelievable, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making it such an incredible evening.
We had a turnout of more than 55 people to listen to Katie Lamb, which in itself was fantastic.
I would also like to thank Tim Taylor for collecting Katie, entertaining her on the journey to us, and then taking her back in the evening to catch her 9.20pm train. Thank you, Tim.
A big thank you as well to everyone who stayed behind afterwards to clear up and leave the hall exactly as we found it. Your help was greatly appreciated.
Finally, I would like to thank Ruth Edwards for her excellent compering. She kept the proceedings moving smoothly and kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.
I think everyone had an amazing night, and that is thanks to everybody who attended and helped make the event such a success. We will definitely be doing it again.
This truly was a Tiverton and Minehead Association family get-together.
